The Process

1.) Visit:

• Visiting is the best way to absorb the atmosphere and spirit of the school. Interested families are encouraged to sit in on classes and Chapel. Registration is open throughout the school year but is encouraged to be completed by April of the current year. Eary Enrollment Incentives are available, with the first discount expiring April 15.

2.) Apply:

• Fill out and return the application: Click here for 2012-13 Enrollment Form.
• Provide copies of report cards from previous years and current grade.
• Provide  any special education reports and I.E.P.’s from previous schools.
• Provide Student biography form (6th -12th grades).

3.) Preliminary Review: FRCS administrators will review the completed application and materials, deciding the need for further interviews and testing.

• Interviews and testing: Appointments will be scheduled for student interviews and academic testing if needed.

4.) Final Decision: Final decisions may take up to one week after testing and interviews are completed. The following considerations are included in the decision:

• Can FRCS meet the needs of your child, both academic and physical?
• Are the parents supportive and willing to partner with the school?
• Is the student willing to follow the school’s lifestyle guidelines?
• Does the student desire to attend FRCS?

5.) Acceptance Letter: You will receive an acceptance letter along with a release form requesting a student’s school records which will need to be sent to FRCS. Parents, please sign this form and send it to your child’s school. This letter will include information on payment policies and options, academic records transfer, public disclosure statements (for pre-K only) and any other required information.

6.) Registration fee: Early registration fee is $90 and is due upon acceptance. Registration fee increases after April 15th to $150.00
